1. Zero Keystroke Logging Policy

Because keyboard input method apps handle sensitive text, Urdu Keyboard: Easy Typing is architected with strict on-device data isolation:

Local System Pipeline: When you press any key (Urdu letters, English alphabet, symbols, or numbers), the character is passed directly to the operating system's active InputConnection. Keystroke data is never intercepted, stored, or sent to any remote server.
No Background Transmission: The application does not contain background networking services to track, upload, or export your typed text.
Offline Dictionary & Suggestions: All next-word predictions, auto-completion, and Roman Urdu transliteration calculations run 100% offline using an embedded on-device Trie engine.
Incognito & Password Fields: The keyboard strictly respects system privacy flags (such as IME_FLAG_NO_PERSONALIZED_LEARNING) during incognito browsing and password entry.

2. Device Permissions and Why We Need Them

Our app only requests permissions that are strictly necessary to provide keyboard functionality:

Microphone / Audio (RECORD_AUDIO): Used solely to enable the Urdu Voice Typing feature when you tap the microphone button. Voice audio is converted to text in real time using Android's system speech recognizer. We never record, store, or transmit your audio clips to any private server.
Haptic Feedback (VIBRATE): Used to provide tactile vibration feedback on key presses.
Google Play Billing (BILLING): Used for optional premium theme subscriptions. All billing is processed securely by Google Play In-App Billing. We never receive or store your financial or credit card information.

3. Data Collection, Retention & Deletion

We do not maintain user accounts or cloud databases:

No Personal Data Collected: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, location, or biometric data.
Local Preference Storage: User preferences (e.g., selected theme, sound volume, haptic intensity) are saved solely in the application's local sandbox on your device.
Data Deletion: You can completely delete all locally saved preferences at any time by clearing the app's cache and storage in your Android device's Settings > Apps > Urdu Keyboard > Storage > Clear Data, or by uninstalling the application.
